I am so far behind!!! :(

Oh man, here it is, October 6th, and I haven't done a single photo challenge in 3 days!!!! Eeeeks! The last few days have been crazy busy for me and I just haven't had the time to come on and do them. I hope you all can forgive me, and bear with me as I catch up on the last few days.

Day 13: From A Distance

This picture was taken while camping out at Superstition in January 2011. My cousin, Brianna, took this beautiful picture of the sunset and of our camp. She is on top of the hill where I had my first crash on my quad!!! The weekend that we went was obviously NOT a busy weekend, as you can see the lack of camp sites there. There is us (the closer of the 2) and another camp site just beyond us. It was a great weekend and I am soooo excited for desert season to start up in just a few weeks! <3

Day 14: Flowers

These are the flowers from my bouquet from my wedding. I loved all the colors and the little pearls in the center of the roses. I was so happy with my bouquet and flower arrangements that I had. I have gotten so many compliments over the years on these! :) <3

Day 15: My Shoes

When I first got these shoes, I wasn't too sure about them. I got them at the Nike Outlet only because 1) I desperately needed a new pair of running shoes; 2) They said they were top of the line running shoes; and 3) They were on sale for a steal at $40.00!!!!

I wasn't too thrilled with the "moon-man" looking soles nor how they seemed to make me look like I was wearing those shoes from back in the early '90s that were supposed to make you feel like you were walking on the moon/air, but, since they were the ONLY pair they had with the uni-body design (meaning there isn't a moving tongue.....its all one piece, I bought them. I also wasn't thrilled with the purple and yellow colors, especially since I went in looking specifically for another pair of black and pink ones. Oh well, these were the shoes I got, and since I go through running shoes so quickly, I decided to get them.

Well, today I wear them proud!!! We lost a GREAT man yesterday, Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. He lost his battle with cancer, and these are LIVESTRONG shoes, so in memory of Steve Jobs, I will continue to wear my LIVESTRONG Nike's......even in all their funkiness!!!!! R.I.P. Steve Jobs.

I can't end my post on a sad note, so for a positive one.....last night the hubs and I went to some friends' house for a lasagna dinner! It was so delish and I enjoyed every bite of it. We had some wine (well, Davey didn't), salad, the lasagna, and some garlic cheese bread. Yum yum!!!! I even managed to drop my salad on the floor.....clumsy me!!!! It was great being able to hang out with some awesome friends!!!

Well, until next time.....
